Year 11 Biology students were visited by Dr Enhua Lee, who is an SoS (Saving our Species) Project Officer for the NSW state government.
She gave an inspiring and interesting presentation about working as an Ecologist. She also explained strategies that are used in the field to study animals like snakes, lizards, koalas and bats.
Year 11 were given a real insight into ecology and conservation as it happens 'in the real world'. This is directly related to a topic the class is current studying (‘The Local Ecosystem').
This was a valuable opportunity for Year 11 to learn more about possible careers in Biology, Ecology and Science.
Thank you Dr Lee!
